A letter about bear bile

Dear Uncle

 Hi. How are you? I didn’t see you for a long time right?

 Yesterday, I went to Cu Chi wildlife rescue. That is a place where peoples take care of the animals that being cage by the hunter which the police had caught. The hunter always didn’t give them any food while caging them. The animals that being brought to the wildlife rescue usually very weak and starving without being feed any food for about 2-3 weeks. I feel very sorry for them.

 At there yesterday, I have a lot of fun. I saw many species. All of them were been caged by the hunters. Some of them were very weak like I said. There I saw many students taking information for their project. I also have a project on social study about bear bile so this is also a good way to collect information. We had a really good time.

 But while having fun, I realized that these animals are being in dangerous, real and big dangerous. Hunter hunt and kill them for their benefit. They take parts of the animals’ body just for money. We, which mean I and you and people around the world, must try something to stop this. The animal are suffering, living in pain. We must stop those evil hunters from destroying the animals’ life. It seem to be hard and big, but we can start on something easier and smaller. In Cu Chi wildlife rescue, we can donate money or share some ideas and comments so that they can make it better for the animals. There are T-shirt and bracelet that we can buy. The money will be use in a good way for the organization and the animals.

 

 I heard that you are using bear bile. I think you should quit using it. It seem to be less dangerous but if you look deeper and do some research, then you probably not going to use it any more. Hunter who hunt bear use very terrible trap that may torn the leg of the bear out. Just think of it if it happen to you, it sure to be really hurts. Then they cage them to the rest of their life. I think you know how it feels to live in the cage years by years. But that’s not all. And every day, they using a huge and sharp needle to pull the bile straight from their gall bladder. They are suffering. But the most important is the bear may get cancer if these people keep taking their bile. And then the user whop use the bile from the bear that get cancer, they may get it either. Hunting bear and taking their bile are both illegal. The population of bears of every species in Vietnam are going down. The decrease in bears’ population may cause many terrible problem in the ecosystem. Advertisement

1. Advertisement will affect the consumption of peoples. The company make cool advertisement to convince peoples to buy their product or to use their service. But they always show the good side without telling the bad side. The people know the existing of the products through advertisement. So they can buy their products. But sometime the advertisement may said unreal thing about the product just to make the people buy it.

2. Most people on the world have low income. So they can't buy the technology which can save the energy or reduce the use of resources. I think it would be a good idea if the Government spend money on doing the sustainable technology and sell it out with a cheap price so all the citizens can able to buy it. Or there are some way to reduce the footprint without using much money:
 _Walk or ride a bicycle instead of ride a motorbike.
_Invent tool from the recycle material.

3. The advertisement affect my decision. They may use the famous sport person like Federer, Ronaldo, or may be Tiger Wood... Their fan may buy the product just because their is a photograph of Tiger Wood with a smiling face on the product. But I always think before buying. I think if they are helpful, its cost, is this cause a lot of resources,...

Revision of the last post.

  Hien is 13 years old and he’s a Vietnamese. His family immigrated to the United State in the last summer. Hien family immigrate because of the push factors and the pull factors. His mom and dad thought Vietnamese school system isn’t good enough. The way of teaching in Vietnam is terrible and boring. Teachers just lecture, and the student don’t have chance to practice their teamwork skills. Another reason that they moved is because his parent like the wealthy and economic of USA. They want Hien to work in the USA because he will have better chance in life later.

  His family immigration also effect many things. There are both negative and positive. First of all, his parent are working in Vietnam. They are both doing a good job. If they leave, Vietnam will lose two good employers. Second if Hien going to work in the USA, Vietnam will lose one more good employer in the future. It seem to be less but if more and more people leave Vietnam for a better life, then, the number of employee that Vietnam lose would be extremely huge. But that is just the negative effect. There are also positive effects. More and more people immigrated, the population of Vietnam will go down. We would use less fossil fuel, less energy. It would reduce the pollution in Vietnam.

The message from mother nature.

 
The Earth climate is changing  in a negative way. Some how, it is caused mostly by human.
  4 word that I don't recognize:
_I take the blame from my mother because of breaking the bowl.
_I had to pump air into the wheel so I could ride the bike to school.
_The heat is extremely intense while 1 o'clock
_Skeptics don't trust an information right away.
  The difference between climate and weather are happen in a short time. Some weather are rain, sunny, windy... But climate stay for long time, can be a year, ten years, can be a century. Some types of climate are tropical, high latitude, middle latitude.
  Extreme weather are weathers which is not very normal. It can be drought, flood, storm, tornado. I had experience with storm already. It cause rain and thunder. It also cause traffic jam and also accident, trees felt down.
  Perception mean that we understand an information and problem.
  My perception about global warming is that it would cause terrible disaster to the Earth. I will try to convince as much peoples as I can to you less fossil fuel, save energy. If every person have a perception of global warming, we can save the world.

 Location: Every place on my animals world have it own absolute point. The Cattese United Kingdom is in the west of the Mousese United Kingdom and in the north of the Birdese United Kingdom.


Movement and Human/environment interaction: the birds moved away because the tsunami destroyed their land. In their recovery program, they also planned to build a wall to control tsunami.

Region: the south of the Doggese United Kingdom have the similar characteristic: mountain range. Citizen there are all dogs.

Place: The Mouse United Kingdom all have the same characteristic: jungle, lake, river. People in this country are all mouse.

A strange culture

     After my class project of everyone family culture. I learn a lot through this project but after all, there is a strange culture: not to sweep the house in the three day of Tet.


From my mom, this culture start in China. She said it is because the people think that Tet is represent for the year. They think sweep the dust out mean that they are throwing their stuff off the house. So they will lose things throw the year. But I also heard that this culture start from a story. It said that long ago, on the kingdom on the sky, there is a female cooker. The god up there really liked her food. But then he fell in love with a horse keeper. She stole delicious food for that man everyday. One day, the gods know it. They turn them into the broom so they had to walk everyday to paid for what they did. But then the god saw that they work really hard so they gave them 3 "holiday", and it is three day of Tet. So that's why people don't sweep the house in the three day of Tet. My mom also said that in the countryside, people usually put their broom in their front yard. But in the last day before Tet, they put it inside of their house because they think that if the robber steal their broom away in the last day before Tet, they will get robbed all around the year.

About Da Lat

  Da Lat is a famous city in Vietnam. I have been there for many times and I really like it. Da lat is 300 km to the north of Ho Chi Minh, take about 7 hours to get there by car using a cars. The reason why it take a long time because Da Lat is a plateau. Da Lat have cold climate because it have high elevation, this climate have an advantage to grow tea and coffe and a lot of vegetables. The most special and beautiful of Da Lat is that there are many flowers grow there. You can see flowers almost everywhere in Da Lat. There are many red soil in the city too.
  People in Da Lat is very nice. They speak softly and very friendly to the guess. Specialy, almost all of the dweller have a little pink on their cheek. That is because of the cold climate. But they usually not hang out or go to have fun at night. Da Lat at night is very quiet and deserted.

I'm studying in grade 8 of AIS school. I really like science, and math also. I like science because it tell me a lot of knowledge about the environment and living things. But however, I like math because it is very useful to my dream job. I am going to be a banker some day. My hobbies is tennis. I had been playing it for about 3 years already. I also interest in music, arts, and soccer.
